My name is Rosann Plautz. I have been drawing and/or painting for as long as I can remember. Since moving to Tampa in 1988 from St. Louis, I have taken art instruction from artist/teacher Mark Menendez, and more recently from artist/teacher Kathi Hobbs.
Currently a member of the North Tampa Art League and formerly a member of the East Hillsborough Art Guild, I have exhibited at the Guild's Christmas Art Show at Walden Lake Country Club, the South Florida Baptist Hospital, the Florida Strawberry Festival, Carrollwood Cultural Center, New Tampa Public Library, and several local restaurants.
I paint in oils and acrylics. I prefer figuratives, florals, landscapes and seascapes, and have done portraits of my grandchildren as well as others. My personal collection includes paintings inspired by travel to many beautiful countries on the Mediterranean Sea, Costa Rica and the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
Thanks for coming, enjoy your visit!
